Home on the Range


The Town of Flower Mound invited the community to experience frontier life, historical demonstrations, live music, and arts sessions to educate about pioneer days in the Cross Timbers region that Flower Mound calls home.


What’s most exciting for me is seeing how changed and thoughtfully taken care of the old Gibson-Grant Log House is now from when I first covered it for The Leader some 10 years before! Always a great time with the town’s parks and recreation team.
